What players are in the collection?+
The collection includes all players from the official FIFA World Cup 2026 squads. Over 1,000 footballers will be representing their nations at the tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Each team can name up to 26 players, including three goalkeepers, so final squads will be between 23 and 26 players per team. Squad lists are not considered official until confirmed by FIFA on June 2, after which the player cards will be generated and the collection will be finalised before the mint opens.
Each token is minted randomly, you don't know which card you'll receive until after the mint. Tokens are shuffled before the drop. Mint price is 0.0069 ETH per token and will be via OpenSea. Mint opens on a TBA date and closes on June 10. After June 10, unminted tokens are burned permanently and any corresponding prize ETH is retained to cover gas and operational costs.
How is the prize pool funded?+
75% of all funds collected go directly to the prize pool. The remaining 25% goes to the creator (@chipiron_eth) to cover costs and operations. We want to be fully transparent about this. Match prizes (score and MOTM) will be managed in a separate wallet and sent automatically to winners once official results are confirmed. Larger prizes will remain on the main wallet and be sent manually by @chipiron_eth at the end of the tournament.
How do Result cards work?+
Result cards are bidirectional — owning a 1-0 card is the same as owning a 0-1 card. There is no home or away team distinction. Result prizes are based on the full-time scoreline. In group stage matches, that means 90 minutes. In knockout matches that go to extra time, the result after extra time counts. Penalties are never counted.
How do Fixture cards work?+
Fixture cards are also bidirectional — Spain vs France is the same card as France vs Spain. There is no home or away distinction. Your fixture card wins a prize if those two teams meet in the Final, either Semifinal or the 3rd/4th place match.
How do Player prizes work?+
Hat tricks and goals in the Final count goals scored in 90 minutes plus extra time, but never penalties — exactly as FIFA counts them officially. MOTM is based on the official FIFA Man of the Match announcement after each game. Golden Ball, Golden Boot and Golden Glove are awarded based on official FIFA announcements at the end of the tournament.
When are prizes sent?+
Match prizes (score + MOTM) are sent automatically within 30 minutes of the official FIFA result confirmation. The prize goes to whoever holds the token at the moment it is sent — if the token changes hands before the prize is sent, the new holder receives it. If you know you've won something, hold your token to receive the prize without any issues. If you don't receive a prize you were expecting, contact @chipiron_eth on Twitter. Major prizes (champion, runner-up, Golden Ball, etc.) will be sent manually by @chipiron_eth in the hours following the World Cup Final, to allow time to verify all winners correctly.
What happens to unminted tokens?+
Tokens not minted by June 10 are burned permanently. Any ETH corresponding to prizes from burned tokens is retained by the project to cover any costs. This is declared transparently before the mint, no holder can claim prizes from tokens that were never minted. This is why minting matters: the bigger the mint, the bigger the prizes for everyone.
What if there is an error or dispute?+
If something goes wrong, we will do our best to resolve it fairly and transparently. All prize decisions are based on official FIFA data. In case of any issue, reach out to @chipiron_eth on Twitter and it will be handled as quickly as possible.
